Don't want AJ and don't think anyone here wants just him, it's AJ plus Angelo that have people intrigued. I'd still vote no, but my vote doesn't matter and I get the interest. Don't think it's very realistic.
The fans did warm up to AJ as the tournament went on. His 3rd place match was the last match of the session & most of the fans stayed. They cheered to get AJ to do the splits! He has an interest brand that he is building. Definitely going to be annoying to people & entertaining to others! Good or bad, I don’t know.
What should I have been paying attention to? I'm not an insider and only knew about his issue in Okoboji last summer.

Prying Angelo out of IC and paying both what they want likely is above our potential however. Keeping AJ in line is possible, he did it this year as far as we know.

After this whole tournament the more and more I want AJ Ferrari and hopefully Angelo follows. I’ve been saying all along idk what the plan is but I bet dresser has a plan. Enjoy the ride
Is there an actual realistic chance we go after AJ and if so is there a realistic chance he comes here?
He’d be close to his brother. Mr fast twitch could go from Ames to IC in an hour 15 if he’s feeling it. I highly doubt any top NIL schools would take a chance on him.
Yonger needs to be on a pitch count next year. Sit him for all unnecessary duals. Hit the minimum numbers. Keep his ranking high enough and have him healthy starting at the Big 12s.
Hard to not like Wyatt. Sucks he’s at Oklahoma state but what a win!
As much as the Johnson experiment should be ending, the gaitan experiment should be 100x more done. Him being/not being in the lineup is going to be one of the early indicators of our teams ceiling. Exact same boat for chittum, which to be fair doesn’t sound like he’s going to give us the option of starting him.
Disagree on MJ.
Get him in the weight room all summer for 174 and I think he’s an AA contender.
I will never understand the eternal optimism on MJ. I obviously want you to be right, but I can’t convince myself of that. At the very least he needs some legitimate competition there, he can’t just have a free spot anymore.
I think MJ problem was 1 he was hurt. 2 they messed with his weight all year. He just needs to use his head more and become a better wrestler and smarter. He has ability
He messed with his own weight he was the one that wanted to go down to 65
