This is why I can't root for Drake tonight. Feels like I am rooting for Iowa's coach and star player next season. Go Tech!
It’s only day 3 and I’m really sick of the repetitive commercials. If I see another GEICO ad I’m going to start drinking. The Bateman Statefarm ad was good the first time. After seeing it 15 times, it’s a bit old.
On the other hand, more Drake wins may prevent him from being the Iowa coach. Seeing the meltdown when McCullom signs with Texas would be a special moment.
I can easily see Texas making a big push for McCasland. McCollum to TT would make sense after.
Hope we aren't being insensitive if there is a mental problem. She is like that during every game.

It directly benefits ISU to have the big 12 be viewed as a top conference. That kind of perception results in more media dollars and, over time, the benefit of the doubt on bids and seeding.
It does nothing good for ISU for ISU to have to share the in-state media stage when it is having success.
Go Tech.
Take the conference thing out and I tend to like how Tech and Houston's teams and coaches operate so tend to cheer for them.
BYU can get beat by 30 for all I care and I keep forgetting AZ is even in the conference.
Drake’s patience and movement is something to see. It’s the reason they’re even in this game. Very disciplined team.
Drake's offense is interesting. They do not panic at all when the shot clock is low.
ISU literally gets paid more if Big 12 teams win
It's Drake, this is their first win in the tournament since the Johnson administration, they're not really a threat IMO.
But I bet they to back to mediocrity once McCollum leaves so I don't really care, if they win that's fun, if tech wins then it looks good for the Big 12.
I guess I feel more attachment to Drake since I grew up near the drake neighborhood and I see it as good for the community. I can understand how most cyclone fans don't feel the same way. If it was UNI I'd definitely be rooting for Tech lol.
That’s really dumb. It is critical for Iowa State that the Big 12 does well and wins games - big/important games - in football and basketball. Not even a loose correlation with douchy SEC “pride” in any way; it’s completely about survival as a “Power conference” school.
