I'm not trying to be a jerk, but I can't think of any recent examples of a guy who really struggled for 2-3 years and then turned a program around in the last 5-6 years. It seems like you either have early success or you get fired. Maybe Maryland and Clemson? Memphis I suppose?

Just seems like the ones that have had success get that early momentum.

Yeah BG is a different AD but still, Iowa doesn't really roll that way.

Are Iowa fans really not accepting that they have to wait in line after IU, going with the “we didn’t want him anyway”?

I could see McCollum stay at Drake over going to Iowa. Going to Iowa more likely, but not certain. He’ll have a lot of better opportunities, and I don’t see him wanting to jump around

I'm not going to call out any ISU fans who give and who dont but if you're able to and want to, this might be a reminder that it seems like we have a great group of coaches & players across all sports and an NIL leader who seems to be pretty open about this all.
