*** Official #12 IOWA STATE vs #17 BYU Game(Day) Thread ***

Only problem with byu is they just aren't that good defensively, they can beat anybody but they have a lot of holes defensively.

A dramatic reminder that good offense beats good defense - especially at this time of the season. BYU is a well-oiled, confident machine. We look like we’re built from spare parts

A ways to go talent-wise

you guys do realize we are missing open looks, CUJO, Mom, Heise....hit shots like the other team is!

That’s two ticky tack of Cade. That second one was honestly ridiculous. Went back and watched it 3 times. How they called that on him is beyond me

I don't mind the threes if they come on a kick-out after we go to the post first and they double. Just don't take the first one so early in the shot clock when we have a shorter bench.

I want them to play well but I do not care about this tournament at this point. We are praying some guys get healthy and one more nagging injury from being an early exit in the NCAA's.

BYU has more "almost turnovers" than any team I've ever seen. They get away with so many lazy passes, tipped balls, lucky bounces right to them, etc.
Ironically I think a lot of that is their crazy level of confidence that everything they do and throw up there is gonna work.

Can't really say I blame them they way they play us every time.

I don’t know why I’m even mad considering Cade Kelderman is getting minutes for this team but I’m still pissed
