Why do they do this

There is a guy who will go to every Jack Trice game wearing Hawkeye gear (unless ISU beats Iowa early in the season.)

Just total loser mentality by this fan. They like being real life hawk trolls instead of just online.

I grew up going to Hawkeye games as a kid and I would NEVER, EVER wear Hawkeye gear to a Cyclone game or Cyclone gear to a Hawkeye game where they weren't playing each other. It's beyond douchey. Every Hawk vs Big 10 team game I've gone to since attending ISU, I've just worn a plain black shirt or something neutral (I get free tickets sometimes.)
