**** daylight savings

I'm glad I get to sleep in at least tomorrow and am looking forward to the sun being out later to pair up with a warm week.

Monday morning will be pretty brutal though.

Thought about this earlier this week but forgot until now. Wife's been sick the last couple days so I've had the 3 kids myself. Today had to coach 2 kids soccer games, attend an event between the kids games walking around to different stands, then an art show my kid qualified for after the soccer games. Then took the youngest to FW and HV for groceries. Now you're telling me I have to drink 2 less beers cuz I lose an hour?

Have to coach last 2nd grade basketball practice tomorrow at noon 11am.

I'm tired just reading your weekend schedule.
Great job by you though Dad for being involved with your kids!!

I only work 7 hours tonight and get paid for a full 8. Sweet!
Reminds me of the days I used to work overnight shifts in radio. The people who made up the hourly sheets with what commercials to play and when could never wrap their minds around the time change, so this weekend in the spring there‘d always be a sheet for the 2 am hour (which didn’t actually exist), so I’d have to move those commercials to another hour. Now, there were only a couple of commercials that time of night, so no big deal …

Of course, in the fall, there would be no sheet for that “extra” 2 am hour, so it was a commercial-free rock block, baby!

I certainly adjust better to DST compared to switch to Standard in fall. But it still feels a bit of "cheating." One of the things I like about late winter is the gradual extension of evening daylight, then, overnight, it's freakin' Memorial Day weekend.

I liked it better when DST began in April.

Midwesterners. Four seasons. Two time changes. Tornadoes. Hail. Flooding. Drought. 100+ heat. Below zero temps. Wind chill. Then there is absolute abundant glory. Pretty similar to Cyclone FB and BB. Onward!!
