Agree, you don't hit the home runs that Johnson does without speed. I don't know why his 40 time wasn't better, but he plays fast. Some guys just aren't good in that setup maybe.

I don’t know what that is, but I recall talking with a national recruiting guru when Darrin was in HS

“He only ran a 4.75 at camp,” he said, then paused, clearly musing.

“How can everyone think he’s good?” he finally asked me, clearly confused.

I think Darren turned out okay.

Dude put in the work here, in addition to the good combine numbers he can make lots of big time plays on the field. Several games this year we probably wouldn’t have won without clutch plays he was a part of.

Screw the 40 time, the man has a 35" vertical. A 6 8 330+ plus dude can jump 3 feet off the ground. That just blows me away.
