visitor this weekend

A California juco all american(voted by coaches) is visiting Ames this weekend. He plays LB, a position that Rhoads said he was still recruiting. Not sure why he hasnt signed with anyone else yet if he was so good.

DOnt know if he has signed/committed to us so I dont want to identify him yet.

SOrry, im just saying that there was a visitor coming in for next year. SOunds like a decent last minute pick up. Hes 6 ft 235 lbs and has a brother that might get drafted this year. If he commits then we will all hear about it soon.

I like hearing a little inside info every once in a while, and don't mind if it has to be given without a lot of details. Eventually it will come out. It just gives us something to look forward to.

I agree. I understand that sometimes lips are sealed, but give a little info or don't give any at all. I appreciate ripvdub and consider him one of the best posters on here, I just hate when someone starts a thread with no pertinent information other than saying.... "I'm aware of something you aren't."

Is that what is going to get stuck in your craw? He didnt just say that a player visited. He gave details. He didnt say that he knows a secret that will be revealed sometime in the next 6 weeks, and then not expound on it more. Calm yourselves. be happy you actually have something to read and ponder instead of the same boring junk.

I hate when people get bashed for giving what information they are allowed to give. He told you it was a JUCO All-Amercan LB from Cali that was visiting, I don't see how that is giving nothing. I enjoy reading these posts because it gives something to look forward to. Just a hint: most of the time if the name is not in the title, it will not be given in the post. If they bother you that much, avoid those types of posts.
