Yeah, I thought maybe Big Grove or Toppling Goliath, but with Big Grove moving into DSM, I doubt they do it. IMO TG has kind of went downhill and the best breweries in the state are Confluence and Big Grove. I don't know that West O is big enough to take something like this on. I guess what I'd love to see is the Full Court Press guys open up a 2nd Iowa Taphouse there. A bunch of Iowa beers in one place. That would kick all kinds of ass.
This feels to me like a perfect place for something similar to a Smash Park. The bar, the large space for a lot of people. The ordering system. Large bar. Games and fun for everyone indoor and out.

Not that it will be exactly that, And not sure there is quite enough space etc, but It would be a decent Idea.

Another would be an Iowa Taproom type place.

Brooklyn Park, MN
Tunnels. We need tunnels.
Keep in mind, despite the recent efforts to raise it, the ISC is still a flood plain.

Notice the comments in the presentation by Jamie that the hotel will have parking underneath and the entrance will be on the same level as the Hilton entrance. The hotel doesn't want it's front parlor flooded out.

Did anyone catch that Jamie said The Cardinal hotel will be 7 stories? That's getting close to Maple/Willow/Larch height.
It doesn't exactly look 7 stories here but maybe that image is tricking the eye. Definitely looks closer to Hilton's height in the second photo I think it's 7 stories including the underground parking (i think i heard that right) because it's all elevated off the drive in the second photo, pretty neat design and OH MY GOD I JUST NOTICED THE SKYWALK BETWEEN HILTON AND THE HOTEL IS A MINI THE BRIDGE :eek::eek:

10/10. Spectacular. Can’t wait till everything is built and is up & running.

Those 2 or 3 bedroom suites have me wondering how much a night they’d go for on Airbnb/VRBO for football game weekends and weeknight basketball games.

Looks good. Now please just get it done so we can move on with the next phase of what tailgating and game days will become. Also I hope my kids are still young enough to play on the play ground... its going to be close at the current timeline :)

Not sure how to tell you this, but...

The main image Pollard showed in his video looked exactly like a grain bin without a roof. I wonder if the image was edited because early feedback on a grain bin in the parking lot next to Hilton did not get the public response they wanted. I'm sorry but if they build an actual replica of a Sukup grain bin in the parking lot it will not be a good look even if they nail the rest of the build.
