I still stunned that Houston is ranked where they are, zero good wins and have lost to any team with a pulse. How they are in the top ten is a mystery.

Looking forward to you guys knocking Kansas back on Wednesday.
I agree they should not be top 10. However, they have 3 "good" losses: OT to Alabama, OT to San Diego St, and 5 point loss to Auburn.

Houston's offense is still murky in my opinion. They get bogged down. They don't have a bucket getter, slasher type. Arceneaux can be that guy but he is inconsistent.

They just beat KSU on the rd by 30!! No one just brambles into the octagon of doom and takes out KState. Not with Tang prowling the sideline.

ISU trademark/logo police need to get after AP for horizontally compressing the ISU logo...
Yeah, that's goofy design, but AP did it with several others, too. (Marquette, Mississippi State, Michigan, Purdue, Georgia, Utah State ... UGa and Purude look especially bad (as does ISU's).

Apparently it isn't because all logos are stretched to fit the slot. Florida's isn't stretched vertically, for example.

How the **** does TAMU lose at home and only drop from #10 to #11? I know Alabama was #5, but even losing to a higher ranked team usually drops teams a few more spots, especially since it was a home game.

Absolutely, I would say what people are missing with our Auburn game is the fact that we were a couple of plays away from running Auburn out of the building. people see that game as we lost on a tip in. We see it as we were up 18 points with several chances to expand on that 18 point lead and kind of "put it out of reach" and just let them back in the game and lost at the end.
It was a tough loss and while can not take anything away from Auburn as they played well enough to get the comeback and win; ISU dominated them that first half and more often than not wins that game. ISU was down vs TexasTech but still always looked in the game, Auburn looked out of it.

That said losing sometimes teaches you more they say and does eliminate any added pressure of trying for undefeated season, haha. Rather have ISU peak at end of the season so it's certainly not a bad loss the way Auburn keeps winning.

Bumping for this week, after going 1-1 with an impressive win vs Kansas where should we be ranked on Monday? Looking at the teams behind us I think everyone lost at least one game except Duke. Is there a chance we only drop one spot to number 3?

Not sure but still in the top 5 would be my guess? Lots of teams lost worse than us this wk.
