Dry January

I've been considering it. I have 3 - 4 work trips that are going to make it extremely difficult, which is probably all the more reason that I should do it.

Starting on Monday. We call it "Joyless January".

I'm doing the same thing. God it's gonna be awful. I'm gonna be shaking worse than Shooter when he was drawing up the "picket fence".

So if you had a drink after midnight on New Year's Eve, have you already failed?

I typically quit drinking for about 2-3 months after the SB. I ain't giving up January.

I've REALLY slowed down since having kids.. I still have a lot of wine and liquor from COVID.

I sleep better and maintained body weight for 4 years, with only an average exercise schedule. Also saves decent $$$
The $$$ difference would probably make up for the 20% increase in Cyclone Club donation that's coming...

No spending January is what I might do. Otherwise I’m drinking even more

Full circle:

Give up drinking to save money. Use the savings to pay for the increased Cyclone Club donation. ISU uses proceeds to modify concessions to allow serving alcohol. Resume drinking by having some beers at games
