Selling beer in Jack Trice could increase revenue by about..... 1%.
Of course its not going to be this multi-million dollar money maker, but its an additional revenue stream we're not taking advantage of that would be popular among a large portion of the fan base. If it nets us 500k during a year, that's an additional 500k we would not have received. Just seems silly to me to miss out on that.

I love JP and this is just an issue I disagree with him on.

I'm for selling beer in the stadium. It's just not going to be a significant revenue source.
I can go either way on this. Financially, it would not be a material number. I agree.
It would be funny though if we allowed it - the biggest complainers would be the people that currently leave at halftime.

You haven’t provided “many” examples here. Again, you can link back your post months ago. It’s pretty simple.
Lets see. I showed.
KSU tickets at the high and the low end are cheaper. Their donation requirements at the high end and the low end are cheaper. Their total prices for tickets at the high and end the low end are cheaper. I showed the benefits for donors to be similar to ISUs.

I showed the same for OSU.

I Showed the same for CU basketball as requested.

When you show me ONE data point to prove I am wrong, or even you are right, I might spend the time to find where I posted before, that included more schools.

You have provided nothing that shows ISUs prices are not at or near the top of the B12 or the P4, not a single one.

Except for the fact you don't have to contribute to the NCC to be a season ticket holder and u don't include hillside seats in your sample. To be consistent, u would have to exclude the other schools cheapest tickets for a true comparison.

Your on ignore so I dont know why your crap keeps showing up. but here once more.

You dont have to contribute to those schools NCC to be a season ticket holder either. I posted multiple times where there is no donation required for KSUs lower level tickets either. And you continue to repeat this, even though you are totally wrong. And refuse to show where it says you must be a donor to at KSU, because it doesnt.

I didnt include the hills, because those schools do not have any levels comparable and I was told to compare apples to apples. They are only applicable to parents of jr Cyclub kids, too. But if you want to include them, parent passes cost $199, each, plus the $70 for kids. KStates lowest tickets cost $150 with no donation required, and include an actual seat instead of grass. I guess you can just pay $70 if you want to send your 3 year old into the game alone, but seeing how you post, you probably would. Seriously 5,000+ posts, 300 reaction score, wow, troll much? Or I guess you are just always this wrong.

A 90+ million AD budget can’t find away to pay players. Well maybe they can if the budget becomes 110M. Not too crazy to think households can’t find away either.

The fact that we all “buy” the “this is the way it is, accept it or die” is the same reason there is still a rose bowl where 50 or so bowl committee members collectively make millions for no reason. Just got to accept it, cuz Ain’t no one involved that is going to give up one penny of their take. The only answer is more. MOAR!
I watch every Cyclone football and basketball game and spend countless hours on this site and consuming podcasts about the Cyclones. I am more than willing to help any way I can to give some payment back to the players that are putting in the time for this and are providing me with so much joy and entertainment.

Do you realize you have been wrong in every post, and given zero data to prove otherwise.

Not exactly sure.
So true. This attitude is prevalent here. It really isn't true about how poor we are. I think the lost generation of people from '84ish to '97ish (???) really lost their connection with isu.

Also, prevalent on this board, especially the politics side, is how ****** up Iowa and Iowa State are and it spills into threads like this.
The negatively is really bizaare. The good news is though these people are in the extreme minority, but it has spilled into NCC numbers where we are near the bottom while having the second most living alums?
With our fan base and the amount of students who go to the games, we gotta really work that group for even $50 a year for those that don’t attend anything. I was a member of the alumni association and I got what, a calendar out of it?? I quit that because I got nothing, I donate to the cyclone club and we will. There are a bunch that give to the AA and don’t get squat for it, so there are people who will give with nothing in return.

Keep trying. U have another 12-13 schools to prove your point. U could also look at Illinois, Nebraska, Mizzou while u are at it.

Given how Blum and Williams always state that ISU alumni are frugal compared to other P4 schools, this isn't a shock that costs have to go up. If Iowa State had deeper pockets to hit for donations it would. Too bad ISU never had a law or medical program to help.

Looks like EIU brought in an extra $3 million from liquor sales, not sure what the university cleared, but I would guess quite a bit of that $3 million.

If they did $3.2 million in sales I bet their profit was $1 million give or take. Overhead on alcohol sales is pretty high.

Someone smarter than me has surely mathed the math on

Profits from sales to whole stadium
Vs
Lost profits of people leaving Sukup if that happened

Screwing people over who can't get seats in the sections that align with what they're giving is also not smart.

KU reseats the Phog every year. Houston, reseats every two years.
KU also lets you keep your seats if you donate $10k or more.
