The Bells of Iowa State holiday video from 2022 that ISU put together is still the greatest of all time. Thee GOAT. Took me a few minutes to find it. If you're in a nostalgic moment or mood it might tear you up some.
The parenting classes should have a unit on building Lego stuff....that the kids will immediately destroy

My mom gets me something ISU every year too, even though she (and the rest of my family) is an Iowa fan. This year I got a zip up hoodie, pajama bottoms, and a t-shirt, all cardinal color.
My kids got me a bag of funyons haha. My sister got me a pair of shoes that are 2 sizes too small.

I have rewatched that second half at least 5 times and the entire game twice. ****. I might have to watch it again today now.

Have 5 little ones. Youngest is 2 yo girl. And she’s all pink, ponies, dresses and twirls. Despite my wife’s best efforts to have her loving natural tones and doing everything her older brothers do.
Every gift she received was like an arrow of cuteness pierced her soul, “oooooooooooh, a puppie doggie!!!! (Stuffed animal not livibg) It’s sooooo cute!!”
When it was time for her to give her big brothers their gifts it was clear she just put in bags things she would want. It made for a funny few minutes when my 10 yo opened up a pink/purple dog from Blue’s clues, and my six year old opened a small pink kitty cat.
They were great sports.
20 mins later she’s playing pretend with all the gifts she gave them. Smart girl.
