*** Official Omaha vs #3 IOWA STATE Game(Day) Thread ***

Well nothing bad happened, we won by 30+. Post Iowa hangover was there a little bit. I kind of wish TJ would give a 9th guy a little more run in these games. It seems our main rotation is 8 and thats it. But in a game like this, why not get the 9th guy a little more run? Minor thing I know, but the conf games are going to wear us down.

Solid win. Didn't come out with the necessary focus, but they turned the switch on in the middle of the first half and did what a top team should do.

I can say without reservation that Nate Heise wouldn't be the 4th best guard on any other team in the country. TJ & staff knocked their portal pickups out of the freaking park.

I'd argue he's playing better than Lipsey this season

Being honest. I didn’t even watch. Was planning to turn it on and saw we were up 25. Nice game to have at this point. Easy and nobody got hurt

Can Heise come back next year too?

Answered my own question: he has just one year (this current year) of eligibility, but can apply for a medical redshirt for missing most of the 2022-23 season.

Jackson and Jefferson both can come back next year.

Love Milan but he doesn't scream "NBA-ready" to me right now, although I've not looked at any recent draft board projections.

Rotation next year could look something like:
- Lipsey SR
- Heise SR
- Nojus SO
- Milan JR
- Jackson SR
- Jefferson SR
- Rock SO

Pick up a solid guard and a wing in the portal and I like it!
