I just found him to be..unbelievable! Like I said in my first post about him...a poser! This being the first time I watched him I just found it all forced...he was posing...watching someone fake outrage (when you can tell) is not entertaining! It is more entertaining to listen to the Hawkeye idiots I work with or run into at the store go off on the game Thursday night because they are genuine (while still sounding like idiots)!
This was the first time I had ever seen him or listened to him...he sounded forced and disingenuous. I don't mind him being a Hawk fan...whatever...does he have to fake anger/outrage to make that show watchable? Made me not want to tune back in...
How about 3sus of Nazareth? He's up there too for me.
Look at the schedule. The ONLY one that we might not be favored in is the KU game in Lawrence. Otherwise we should be favored in every single one. Didn’t say they wouldn’t be tough games…but we should definitely be favored.

When Hassell talks in anything other than his normal voice, I find it unlistenable and turn it off. Like fingernails on the chalkboard bad. Sounds like a junior high school kid trying to be funny. CW is way better than that and should tell him to stop it.
I will take Hassle Hassel every day of the week and twice on Sunday for the hawk counter point vs Ross. The noises Hassel makes are like fingernails in a chalkboard though. Don probably spent a lifetime sending Chris outside the house for that crap.
Maybe it was just not what I was expecting? I thought it was going to be a Cyclone fan and a Hawk fan discussing the game...I could go to anywhere in eastern Iowa and easily find a Hawk fan acting like he was acting...I guess I thought it was going to be more of a discussion based show rather than a guy whining and pouting? I don't know...like I said...it was my first time watching.
Haha, I remember that may have been the lamest attempt at destroying the rim. It was like lifting a 5 yr old up so they can dunk on a 7ft rim.
we did notice that, especially in the first half, Harding and the other Iowa guards were a step quicker than ours. we were having all sorts of problems staying in front of them, but there's a build difference too. Lipsey looks like he has 40 lbs on Harding, so it eventually wore on them, and they had no chance if they tried to body.
I think it's kind of how some cinderella's make runs in the tournament. smaller super quick guards that kinda bewilder your defense initially. We're built to match up with Auburn, Marquette and KU, so it's an adjustment against your Jackson States & Iowas
