This is spot on, we got EIU's A+ level game for 20 minutes in the first half, and instead of folding and getting down 15/20 we fought back and took it down to 7 at half. Teams in the past would have rolled over, but this team fought back, and got stronger as the game went on, while EIU died the last 4 minutes of the game.Any of our past teams would have absolutely panicked in the first half and would have been down 15-20 points. We did a really good job sticking to plan and not falling into the trap of chasing hot shooting. We had one little stretch around the 10 minute mark when we chucked three's on 3 straight possessions. We followed that up with getting a couple stops and pounding the ball inside. I want to say Iowa was up by 12 or 13 and we had it down to 6 in no time.
This team when it is locked in and hitting shots can beat anybody in the country, and we did that last night with Milan having a poor game.
