Yeah, that storyline is unfortunate. True, but unfortunate. If we had teams winning 6-10 games every year, it wouldn't have been so long. But we had a lot of years of not caring about the football program in there. We'll get one sometime soon.

I doubt that, we’d probably not get invited anywhere first. If I lived in Memphis I wouldn’t go to that game again after this horse **** today and I think the Liberty Bowl knows most fans would feel like I do.

In all seriousness though, ISU just seems incapable of tha truly “Magical” season. We got to ten wins for the first time ever. You can’t expect them to win the Big12 for the first time ever that same year. We got all we are getting this year. Hopefully not this century.

Didn’t last week. You have to win big games to be in bigger games, and the Cyclones under Campbell have done that more than any in school history.

This one is a bad matchup for our walking wounded defense and our grind it out offense.

Brent, CW, Trent Condon, Ken Miller......all seemed pretty confident in our guys when I was listening to podcasts this morning at the gym.

This is a straight up ass kicking going the other way.

Delusion is toxic. I've followed Iowa State football for a long time. Can we upset a big dog on a game to game basis, yes. But winning at a high level for a full season, I'm sorry to say will never happen here. Football is hard to do that. Getting a full roster of top talent on our campus won't happen. Hard to hear but if you are honest with yourself just be happy in celebrating individual wins.

Campbell and Pollard have contrived a "Fake ID" program not unlike the Ferentz model at EIU that gets utterly exposed every time they manage to advance to some higher level of competition in the post-season.
I see we have the 53rd ranked recruiting class coming in. Don't hold your breath for any CFP's in the near future.
