Why? Is there some kind of legal reason this shouldn’t be public? That’s another aspect of this scam I don’t like. Anyone that gives money to a “non profit” should have access to know how that money is used. And I mean a detailed accounting.
Did you give a one time gift or ongoing support, just curious?

I won’t argue the point anymore, I trust in Heacock. Those were game changing turnovers. Find a running back in the portal.

I didn’t trust the defense/Heacock at all today.

According to Joe Tessitore- Jon Heacock about making defensive adjustments to counteract what ASU and Skattebo do best, "We are not going to make any changes this late in the season." That sounds eerily like former Vikings coach Bud Grant sentiments entering every Super Bowl loss.

Slightly different take them some people on here after watching the game.
They were the best offensive team we have played all year - by far. Our tackling was terrible, especially at LB. Safeties could not tackle either. That said, Scatebo is unreal good. Best RB I have seen in college football ( I have never seen the Boise kid).
Somebody said they cannot pass the ball. Totally disagree: 12/17 for 219 and 3 TD’s, basically in 3 quarters. Their QB was outstanding, and had good wheels too. They had our defense totally confused. The three turnovers led to the route. We were moving the ball OK, not great. If nothing else we would have consumed clock and got a few points without the TO’s.
Bottom line - we are not in their league - they are way better than us. Very creative play calling by them. I am concerned about our bowl game opponent. Hope we get a winnable game.

The other thread was closed, but I did want to apologize this morning to Blum if he was offended by anything I said last night. I was upset after the game yesterday, and probably had a few too many beers last night on top of it.

Blum has a nearly impossible job, one I could never do, and he does an amazing job at it. We should all be glad we have him leading our NIL.

With that being said, I do still believe college athletics is spiraling out of control and is heading in the absolutely wrong direction, so I do not take that back. And if people aren't happy about that, that makes total sense, and if people can no longer afford to give OR have lost interest... that makes total sense as well. Others may be able to, and choose to, give more... and that's awesome! I hope our NIL continues to grow and keep up with everyone else... that would be a great thing for us fans.

And as far as the game goes... I will also not take back my criticisms of this coaching staff. Week in and week out this season... some of the decisions during the game have been downright baffling and do not make any sense whatsoever. We can go into further detail on this at another time. But it shouldn't go unnoticed and glossed over. But it seems it's never allowed to even be discussed on some of these Cyclone Podcasts... you cannot question CMC. And nobody does in the press conferences either... and I get it to a point. CMC gets all pissy in the pressers if you question anything.

Now don't get me wrong... I have said over and over again that I want us to keep CMC here as long as we can. He's not the best coach in the country, but he fits ISU perfectly, has taken us to new heights.. and honestly who could we possibly go get that we can afford that's any better? But his in game decisions, strategy, adjustments, etc all need improvement. But who doesn't have room for improvement in their jobs?

I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of every game that "The Iowa State Cyclones" football team played this year. I was blessed to have been able to watch them win 10 games for the 1st time ever. Man it is good to be a Cyclone fan. With football season over, (for me) now it is time to tune into my favorite men's basketball team. God bless fellow Cyclone football fans.

100% agree. Balance by CB was out of control, I couldn’t believe how low his pad level got sometimes then he’d spin out the contact.

Rocco is such a gamer you gotta love him. And makes some great throws. But he’s 5’10 and that makes it tough to play big time ball. I know the program says 6’1 but that’s a fantasy. So many batted balls cost us big this year. It’s a sad but needed conversation that will be had.
It would be ideal if Rocco were taller. However, some shorter quarterbacks have been successful, including Kylar Murray, Bryce Young, Drew Bress, Doug Flutie, etc. He is just a sophomore and is still working on his craft. I would begin to worry if he begins to regress next year. But I do not think that will happen. Rocco seems to have a strong work ethic and a desire to improve. I bet he works on his weaknesses in the off-season.

Rocco's height doesn't have to be an issue... but it is when he's short and kinda throws sidearm a bit on top of it. He gets way too many balls batted down.... or hitting his own OL in the helmet.
