*** Official #16 IOWA STATE vs #15 Arizona State Big 12 Championship Game(Day) Thread ***

The missed DPI that was obvious to the world was the entire turning point of the first half. No one will convince me otherwise. Clutch your pearls about people complaining about the officials somewhere else.
It saved us from what....another missed field goal? The offense has done exactly what he hope teams do...eat up meaningless yards and fall apart as soon as the field tightens up.

  • Team tackling, doesn’t matter if you’re latched onto a shoelace, hold them up until help arrives
  • More guys in the box, blitz more often and dare them to pass
  • Offense needs to be more aggressive as even adjustments aren’t likely to shut them down
  • Need to score 40+ to win this one

How can so many posters be calling game at half time? Yeah, they look bad. But have you watched the team this season? How many times we've thought "that's game" and then still won?

Keep the faith!
They can still.win for sure, but that doesn’t excuse the play in the 2nd quarter. That was emasculating.

do we honestly think ASU or ISU will stop Penn State or Notre Dame's offenses? Their run games? Maybe the committee has the Big 12 spot on. No defense by either team.
They'll at least put up a better fight with Scattebo than we would have with Sama doing interpretive dance for 2ypc against Penn St or Notre Dame linebackers.

Obviosuly disappointed at halftime. But in honor of today’s anniversary, a quote comes to mind

“Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?”

Some posters on here owe me an apology for their disagreement to me calling Skattebo the MVP. NO player is more valuable to their team than him. He's done this all year. He is literally worth like +14 to +21 pts per game for ASU. I've watched almost all their games.

Jeanty or Hunter will win the Heisman, and deservedly so. But I'm not talking Heisman. Colorado & Boise would still be solid bowl 7-10 win teams without them.

ASU is absolutely a 3-6 win team without Cam. Skattebo is making our tackle attempts look like a we're a DII school.
