Jefferson got abused by Broome that whole game. Refs were kind of allowing it, so not sure what Joshua could've done differently

I get that he wanted to keep Jefferson in for his size, but if he’s getting beat that badly on the offensive glass anyway not putting Milan in was stupid

Both teams are both really good. Both teams go on runs bout the same. They have great moments followed by very average play for stretches. I think the winner goes on the right spurt at the right time. It's also a game where I could see a team get out to a 15 point lead and not be safe. Hope the good guys can pull this one out.

I really need someone to explain what the reasoning is for not having Milan on the court for the last offensive possession. If nothing else he takes a defender away from the play and open up the court for a drive.

The biggest issue is we are probably going to have to play IMO the best team In The tournament if we beat Dayton (assuming unc wins)

Don’t care leaving the island 1-2 after blowing an 18 point lead sending us to the championship side

Just sucks is all. We just had to many errors at the end

Why is that an issue? The point is to get games against good teams. I hope we get to play UCONN cause it’s not like we have many more opportunities to get ready for the Big12 season. Every game you can get to learn something before the winter break only makes you better when they really count.

Jefferson was not good after first 6-7 minutes of game. Last possession made no sense to have home in over Milan!

He was terrible in the second half. This ain’t the Mountain West, fella. Gotta bring it harder than that.

I think Jefferson was gassed. He played really poorly down the stretch, for sure but it looked to me like he needed more rest.

Probably would have been nice to have a tougher game before this. Our guys just weren’t ready for the grind of a full 40 against a top 5 team. Think the cyclones bounce back and win the next 2.

That likely would involve beating uconn and handing them their 2nd l in 2 games. I'm guessing we go 1-2.

Yeah hindsight is 20/20, but Broome was cramping, they were scrambling a little… just attack.

I don't think i agree. They get out back regardless of when you get the shot up...so its more about making sure you do score, not whe you score.

Kind of like the final 4 minute drive in football Saturday. Sure, it'd be nice to score with no time left... but priority IS scoring.

That play wasn't the way I would have done it. What had worked all game was ball movement and in and out kicks. That wasn't it.

I think we're in a great place... but not happy with that last possession.

That result does NOT change what I think the ceiling or floor of this team is

It doesn’t but each year we seem to have a couple games like this that would have made us jump up a seed at the end..

Also the big 12 as a whole is looking like **** in this early season. Ku gets beat by duke and they prob will, the league looses a lot of our league strength argument

Our guys looked really tired. Needed to play more bodies. Lipsey and Jefferson especially seemed worn down there. Gotta find a way to get some rest.

Yeah. Thanks. No family history, but since my wife has had to start screening early because her younger cousin just battled CRC and her mom has the CHEK2 gene, I figured I should as well. Tomorrow morning is going to be FUN! I'd rather have norovirus tear through the family again. Seems like a thanksgiving tradition.
