I mulched and bagged my yard. Leaf blow and mulch three neighbor's yards yesterday. Had over 23,000 steps in and was wiped out. BTW- I still hate sycamore leaves.

My house is surrounded by several large old growth maple trees. - Beautiful to look at during fall, but crazy on the amount and size of leafs. I just mulch right over them with the mower deck. (Mulch kit installed)
Temps for the K State game are highs of 35, lows in the teens. Sure hope it is a day game !
Snow is not something to celebrate.
First snow of the season is pretty while sitting by a fire looking out a window holding a cup of hot chocolate. By the second day, the novelty wears off.
But what’s the new windchill rating going to be? Cold, really cold, or frozen nuts cold?
+1 fall is root system recovery time. Hurting the grass for next summer by limiting carbohydrates available to the roots before winter.
With regards to the snow good vs snow bad debate. Cold+snow is better than cold+no snow. Nothing worse than frigid cold with no snow on the ground. Or the days where it hovers just above freezing and drizzles all day. Give me a blizzard over that.
