Hello Everyone,

I am currently in the market for a new car. I am looking at the 2024 Equinox Gas. Curious if anyone has one around the year I am looking at.

Thanks!

The 2025 gas Equinox still has Apple carplay and android auto, it's the EV that doesn't so far.

I don't know about anyone else, but I'm excited for the day that you buy a new car but have to pay a monthly subscription fee to use all the features.
TBH GM already does that to a point with onstar and its kind of BS IMO

I was just about to say I bought a 2023 Chevy last year and it has Android Auto so would have been news to me if they did away with it.

That day is kind of already here if you count using the app to do something like remote start your car, have to pay monthly for that.
In a way, yes. But will navigation be standard and not part of a subscription? Why pay for something that is essentially free on your phone? But now it won't integrate with your vehicle's display.

I don't care for the looks of the 2024 and previous Equinox, but the 2025 redesign looks nice.

I had a 2012 Equinox that was an absolute beast. I loved that thing. I then upgraded to a 2015 and loved that one as well. My wife had a 2017(?) and it was a great ride. We went with a Tahoe for a few years and then in February just downsized to a Traverse and we love it. Wish we would have waited for the 2025 model, but the 2024 works for us.
Never had any issues with any of them. Just maintain them as you should and you'll be fine.
