Luther Open

Wrestling novice.. what is the significance of competing attached vs unattached?

For redshirt purposes?
Yes and for accumulation towards eligibility.

I.E. if an athlete participates as unattached; nothing accrues towards the limit of ncaa eligibility.

(Full disclosure IDK the details of eligibility any more. It use to be 5 yrs to play 4 but I can’t keep track of the recent rule changes)

These results good? They don’t seem too impressive.

Rojas ran through the field. I don't have scores in front of me but he may have teched all his opponents except for one fall. Also T. Naak (1st) and Bartelt (2nd) look like good results.

Bartelt beat Hagarty 7-2, which to me is a great sign. About the same as Carroll, so I think we have a good one in Bartelt, even though he lost to a D2 guy.
