I knew it would be bad. But I'm surprised a bit at how bad.

When you are on a streak like we were, a loss is going to ******* hurt. I've been telling people that I wasn't going to regret getting excited about the team even after they eventually lost. And I'm not. But, I was still pretty devastated.
Logically, we were likely to lose a couple. The frustration from fans isn't the loss, obviously - its the way the Team played, in a game against a bad defense, in a game in which the Team had 2 weeks to prepare, yada, yada, yada.

It would be very strange if anonymous fanatics on a free public message board weren't frustrated by the performance of the coaching staff and players today.

there's frustrated and there's the crap I'm reading on here. There's several people saying that Mouser should coach Ames Junior High.

Iirc the poster you're responding to thought ISU should run plays that they had seen on a kids' flag football team last year because they worked...so...

Play that really hurt us the most was the hands to the face penalty that nullified an interception. And I think that was their 98 yard drive.
That was huge. Erased a turnover. Also huge was the false start at the 1. Does anyone think we wouldn’t have gotten a TD with three (or four) tries from the 1?

Weird that a team famous for avoiding penalties all season ended up getting bit hard in the butt by penalties.

It's feeling more and more like the Big 12 is a G5 type conference.
The Big 10 and SEC have 2 elite teams better than anyone in the Big 12, we’re the same the rest of the way down the ladder. I think most rational Big 12 fans would agree with that to some degree.

Having a hard time with the loss tonight. It's a rough one. Love this team but they have some serious definitionies

So does almost every team. We have less than most.

The B1G sucks after their top teams, but the SEC is actually plenty deep. Sheesh, Alabama is currently tied for 6th with Vanderbilt and Ole Miss. Alabama might not be Saban Alabama good, but they would still be a real handful for most teams.

All the games will be toss ups from here on out. Hard to win every game in the 4th quarter.

I do think the offense has to figure out how to adjust to the pressure, because it's going to be coming from here on out.

I have no idea, but I wish we could just be reasonable. Are Kansas State fans saying they aren't winning again tonight?

And hell, we almost pulled out this one.
For the most part, yes. Kansas State fans are pretty down on their team right now.

Hope the players and coaches take this loss as a wake up call and don’t let it spiral. They are very lucky to not have lost 2 in a row. Honestly to me it’s Mouser and Campbell that need to wake up on offense. That game plan and play calling was horrendous.
