Living in SW Iowa, we hear all the time that they are relevant/a blue blood/playoff worthy. They will never be back

I grew up in the western third of the state and bug eater fans are nothing compared to how the used to be. I'm not saying they still aren't arrogant but they have definitely been humbled over the last 20 years.
Omaha tv was brutal.

I know they have a metric **** ton of money, I'm not doubting that, but so do most of the big boys. I don't think they have enough of a financial advantage to build a powerhouse these days.
Unless they grew up Husker fans, I don't think high school kids are exactly jacked up about going to Lincoln.

Goes to show how good we have it with Campbell.
The only time I like the Huskers is when they are playing EIU. 
They have a load of alumni money. The NIL will help them regain their status.
Sitting in the parking lot at JTS Saturday, watching the Huskers get dismantled on TV while surrounded by ISU fans at a sold out game going 7-0 felt like reparations for what NU did to us in the Big 8 days
