***2024 CFB Week 3 Games Thread***

I know we should be rooting for the conference. But stuff like this makes me think the conference might be more top heavy than we thought. If we can have 3 11-1, 10-2 teams, that'll be good.
Was thinking the same thing. Utah, kstate, isu, osu………..then a bunch of teams that can beat us but shouldnt. Az, wvu etc

Spot on with Daniels and injuries. But one thing you’re not counting is that everyone always says “teams are not the same week to week” which is 100% obvious and true. BUT that doesn’t mean they will change in a good way. If this continues for KU, there’s a real chance Daniels and the perhaps the team quits a bit by the time we play them.

KU had some pretty lofty expectations coming in, so if they lose a couple of Big 12 games right out of the gate that could go south fast.

I think a big factor in this is Liepold.

He seems to be a bit of Snyder Lite and may have some things worked out over the next month.

That game reminded me of ours vs Louisiana.
UNLV appears decent.
You go THERE, ass hole?!?!?!?

Avery Johnson drives me crazy. Slippery sucker needs to get planted in the turf a few times so that Kleiman and company have second thoughts about using his legs that much.

I get the whole parity thing, games being exciting and every game matters. We can still have that BUT at the same time have 1-3 teams that win all of those great games. It’s just a reality that having a couple of teams with 11 wins or similar is better than a bunch of 8-9 win teams.

Have to take care of business but Utah doesn’t play K State and we don’t play OSU.

There’s a path.

I know Lawrence is close-ish to Kansas City but the chaos and disruption of the construction project at their stadium probably has to take a toll, right?

I have to think Arrowheads turf is gonna look like hell once they start playing there.

Hate K State but they are going to get that big bump for absolutely destroying a top-20 team right? Right?

Said tongue in cheek, but we’ve seen that trash in the SEC and Big Ten where Tennessee or an Ole Miss blasts Kentucky who snuck into the top-25 due to being in the SEC and those teams move up like 4-5 spots in the rankings.

Apparently Lance’s wife tweeted this week ******** about the Kansas fans not buying tickets to the game. And it was fairly personal saying something like “imagine if we were at a place that sells out”. She deleted it but it’s not going over well with the fanbase tonight.

Whats with all these schools trying to come up with stupid hand signs.

Not everyone has to imitate Texas.

Some of these just look stupid.

She denied it, said it was fake.

Not sure what is true.

Part of me wishes K-State woukd have gotten their butts kicked, but there's also part of me that remembers how arrogant some of the Pac-XII fans and media were and I'm like "Welcome to the Big XII *******!"
