I mean your posts sounds like KU is going to just look the same when ISU plays them.
Not sure how good Arizona is. They struggled for awhile with northern Arizona last week.
Of course anything can happen, as they haven’t gotten to conference play, but I never understood the KU hype. Daniels is all about himself, the loss of Kotolnicki (sp) is a much bigger deal than folks talked about and I just think they were better with Bean at QB.
Doubtful since they have already won a game.

If you can score a 3-pointer in between a one-and-one free throw situation than you ought to be able to retroactively take a win away.
I thought we were better than them last year (we really gave that game away) and going into this year without their OC and Daniels at QB, yes I expect to beat them. One thing that will not change in two months is Daniels trying to play hero ball.
Now if they use their RBs like they should? Sure then we shall see.

My point was they could be on a 4-5 losing streak here.

I don’t think it’s a massive deal but it’d be better to have as few losses to non-p4 teams
I was never really sold on Arizona. They returned some talent but lost some key guys too, along with their coach.
Any non con upset loss is damaging to the whole conference. We're fighting for relevance, and it's an uphill battle. Losses like this hurt.
Their defense isn’t good enough no matter how good their offense is.
If Daniels is even playing by then (injuries, do they have another Bean type if he's benched?).
Either way ISU still has a ways to go for me to circle any conference games as sure Ws (not saying they won't, they just need to play well and consistent) and that's not taking injuries into consideration.
Spot on with Daniels and injuries. But one thing you’re not counting is that everyone always says “teams are not the same week to week” which is 100% obvious and true. BUT that doesn’t mean they will change in a good way. If this continues for KU, there’s a real chance Daniels and perhaps the team quits a bit by the time we play them.
KU had some pretty lofty expectations coming in, so if they lose a couple of Big 12 games right out of the gate that could go south fast.
And yes, I NEVER guarantee a win, but beating KU was needed to get to larger goals this year. If we want to challenge for the conference title, we can’t lose a neutral site game against a team that has shown some big weaknesses thus far.
