the bigger question is why are Hawk fans applying for Iowa State related positions.....ones that are very public facingI can't get over the fact our PA announcer and game host are both Hoks.
WTAF, Jamie?

The TV timeouts were only 2.5 minutes on Saturday. Last year they were 3 or 3.5 minutes. Also, ND ran and controlled the ball so there weren’t as many as usual, it seemed to me.The last few years, I've complained about how long TV timeouts felt in the stadium. I didn't notice it as much on Saturday and maybe she was part of the reason I wasn't just sitting there watching the clock tick. I think she would have a better role though if she was leading interactive things during the break, like on field games or something, rather than just moving around the stands talking. I get she is there to do ad reads basically, but those could easily be tied in to activities.

To add to your point, Totally different sport but the Wrestling Staff is made up of 3 Hawkeye national Champions.Who said she was a Hawk fan?
And…have you ever heard of this guy named Dan McCarney?
And just off the top of my head, Nate Schedlhaase and Colby Kratch both had dads who starrred for Iowa.
Some of you folks are absolutely ridiculous.

Here’s the issue. It’s cyhawk week and people are already extremely on edge. It’s only going to get betterAre people really trying to equate coaching jobs to a part time gig where you don’t have to be 100% invested in? Pretty poor comparisons.
You mean, like, people ******** about someone once working a part time gig they didn’t have to be 100% invested in now working for ISU?Are people really trying to equate coaching jobs to a part time gig where you don’t have to be 100% invested in? Pretty poor comparisons.
The times she was there for work? You noticed the Iowa Air Guard patch she was pointing at, in the one, right? Gotcha. She did, according to her social media posted earlier in the thread
That was my initial reaction too, but it's clear from old facebook posts that she's supported Iowa over ISU when given a chance to choose one over the other. I've seen nothing anti-Cyclone, though. The times she was there for work? You noticed the Iowa Air Guard patch she was pointing at, in the one, right? Gotcha.
More post # 40 when she refers to herself as “this Iowa Hawkeye fan”The times she was there for work? You noticed the Iowa Air Guard patch she was pointing at, in the one, right? Gotcha.
So basically we can never have those formative collegiate experiences ever again. The thousands of students, alumni, parents, kids, etc who will remember it forced it simply... No moreThey have done it after every game for the last couple years. I remember standing in the floor of Hilton and too many were confused on how to control the crowd and just slinked away so it was a waste. If they do it for every game, it is just a part of the job. Plus, if we do have a big game, they will know what to do.
Am I comparing them? No. I'm saying Pollard has no shut down any chance of that experience ever being had again when it is warranted. Are you comparing the atmosphere of an opening tune up game to going up against a BCS bound OSU? Do you expect Hilton to be the same in November and February as well?
As for the rope. The security firm is paid to have people there whether it is warranted or not. It’s a CYA just in case something happens.
Field stormings will absolutely still happen, IMO. A lot of the changes and enforcement/prevention is there to ensure it happens somewhat orderly and the opposing team can get off the field safely. So basically we can never have those formative collegiate experiences ever again. I don't care, personally, and I watch the games on TV so I have zero opinion over all of this.

Yeah, that was the whole point.
