They were dislikable, but we have our share of athletes I'd hate if they were from other countries.
There are a few heated rivals in some events, but I bet if you could get anonymous responses from athletes, we'd be the country they'd most want to beat to advance. We bring a ton of athletes with us. We're not going to get a lot of sympathy for losing or bandwagon fans from other countries.
I put a free-form application in to be "the guy that brushes sand off the womens sand volleyball players" but apparently it's not a real job.
For those who remember Iowa State was Erriyon Knighton's first offer as a football player. He had tons of football offers early in high school then went pro in track and field as like a 16 year old.
Are all pole vaulters attractive? That one from Canada was gorgeous as well.
As a gay man, I just have to say that I rather enjoy these men's track uniforms.
For a moment, I thought he was going to pull off the monumental upset.
