I use Indica gummies or smoke it. Sativa gives me anxiety and it lasts to long. Indica is basically the old school 70's, 80's, and early 90's type weed.
I can't tell the difference between Indica and Sativa personally. I know people swear there is, but just doesn't seem to hit me all that different.

Maybe it's how much you smoke it or take edibles. I have another friend that says that also. I am not a frequent user. Maybe 4 or 5 times a month. However, Sativa destroys me and makes me feel terrible. Indica makes me want to listen to Pink Floyd and eat Tacos.

A friend of mine said they didn't know the difference, but one knocked her out.

The other gave her a mini-panic attack when her inner voice said "you can't escape this".

Now she goes very easy on the herb and booze.

Keep in mind everyone will respond differently and while sativa, vs Indica, vs hybrid is a thing different stains of each will have different effects.

Usually it’s a trial and error process till you find a brand/strain/dose that works for what you want.

I'm skeptical as well. But I've read a credible article that claimed it's the terpenes that actually dictate the effect. Currently researching...

Same, but I have a couple buddies who won't try anything because they got paranoid/anxious the few times they've tried anything. One has only tried it while drunk in college and I've told him a thousand times to try it while sober.

The last few months, I've really been into "type 2" and "type 3" weed. - That would be flower with normally a higher percentage CDB content vs the THC.

I haven't had any anxiety with any strain since switching to this style of flower. - Not to mention, its hemp, so good prices, no taxes and they ship.

A little, it’s the strength, amount, and method is really what it boils down to and it takes a lot of trial and error to get dialed in. And if you’re just a casual user you can get dialed in, but you might miss out on something that works better.

i have a pretty set schedule and methods. Vape pen day time, i prefer hybrids but will also sativa if I can 100% guarantee freedom. Think day off of work, doing an outdoor activity or playing a video game all day, or watching movies all day. I only use liquid live resin or sauce carts. I take a 10mg edible at about 6pm. If I’m not getting results that I want because of diet or exercise or mental state that day I will flip the Indica cart on the vape pen and I know it’s lights out in an hour. Indica just hits me with the sleepy.

I’ve tried to use pills but they don’t hit me right. I love the form (small and familiar) and the function ( hit faster than edibles) and im excited to go back and try them again as the cannabis cos get better at them.

If I have easy access to a dab rig (I don’t own one) and I have 8 hours to go to the moon I will absolutely partake, but I know people that just dab all day and they are amazing I don’t know how they do it.

I finally just raked up all the flower and made coconut oil canabutter out of it. That move has turned out fabulous, I'll never buy flower again. Carts and edibles only right now.

Being over 60 I have no need to explore Indica. Couch lock is already here. I also have to be careful adding alcohol. Dizzy and light-headed is the inevitable result of one too many, which isn't much at all these days. And @Gorm is onto something. A bit of CBD is the evening really enhances the sleep. Just be sure to avoid the lab-derived cannabinoids.

10 MG indica at 8 pm gets me thru the 2:45 to 5:00 am wake up cycle. Beautiful when it works about 80% of the time. I keep an indica vape by my bed if I wake up. One hit and back to nighty nighty. One week a month I go back to tamazapam. Beautiful drug that has very minor addictive qualities, but I am skepitcal to take all the time.

If you don’t have to take a benzo and can find another work around that’s strongly recommended in my mind. Federal guidelines and research have decades to catch up

Do you or others have any opinion on Kratom? I use the powder and take about 3 grams couple times a week and seems to elevate my mood without a big comedown. If you research online you can really get differing answers as to the potential dangers

I have a Magic Butter Machine. If I run in to flower, which is usually a friend growing something new of their own and giving me some, it goes directly in to the machine. I do not combust anything.

I agree and so does my doctor. You are a doc, if I recall? He knows about my indica solution and endorses it. He will give me 90 temazepams with no refills. It lasts me about 18 mos. Indica has been a blessing for me. 6-8 straight hours of sleep are one of life's cheap thrills, for me anyway. Hahaha

I've been off the hooch for a few weeks now, planning a 2-3 month alcohol detox which we do annually. I have an indica vape for that same purpose, as well as a sativa (sometimes hybrid) for when I just want to take the edge off without pouring a drink. So, I guess, "California" sober.

Yeah I’m just in emergency med, not internal and I do have my bias because I am very pro THC for a wide variety of issues now that it’s becoming legal and well regulated.

Hopefully with the downgrade from schedule one you will see more research come out since funding will be easier to obtain.

For the record I am very pro edibles I am not pro vaping simply because we don’t know the long term effects.
