I've watched a few of the recent gameplay videos on youtube. Still no Iowa State footage as far as I know though... Can't wait for this game.
Pre-ordering by itself doesn't get you access until the 19th. For the early access (on the 16th) you'd need to pre-order the Deluxe Edition, which also comes with a bunch of Ultimate Team nonsense.

I've been wondering that. It's basically $10/day for the early access. That's steep.
I'm a console generation behind and thought I was OK with waiting another couple years... but that video has the FOMO in full force

Yeah, the dynasty mode looks so incredibly detailed. I love the individuality of each recruit. Position, archetype, star rating, gem/bust, physical abilities, mental abilities, development trait, maximum caps on physical attributes. I really liked the part where he recruits a 4 star center, who is a gem, with a star development trait, but his attribute caps are pretty low. So he comes in rated well, but will hit his max rating a lot earlier than another player who might have been lower ranked but with better overall potential. I don't think I've seen that in a football game before. It's incredible
Oh it’s definitely steep. I just couldn’t wait any longer and wanted to pull the trigger. That $30 is less than a night out with the lady for dinner and a drink so it helps that I won’t want to leave the house in those 3 days

It was one of the easiest $30 I've ever spent. It's been roughly 4000 days since the last college football game came out, so $30 equates to $.007 cents per day I've had to wait. A bargain.
That right there is better than sales price math about saving money by spending money! I might have to steal your words to use on my better half lol lol.
I have Tuesday and Wednesday taken off already. Not sure how I’m going to make it to the end of the day Monday though. Finally officially preordered last night.
I don't have Deluxe, but I plan on watching a good chunk of Twitch streams on it during the preorder play days.
It still hurts me a little that games are $70 now, my cheapness would never let me spend $100.
They have ALWAYS been this expensive or thereabouts. We just actually got to live through a heyday of cheap $50 games in the PS2/Xbox Era
That Madden Game would be $117 in today's dollars.
