Having Iowa at home obviously helps those numbers, but we also had the Pitt dual canceled due to the storm that could've drawn a pretty big crowd. Hopefully we can get a record number of season tickets sold for next year!

The Carr effect was in play for those numbers too. That said, the hype train for this years team is real. I don’t know how we’ll do or compare to last years attendance but I expect this year to surprise many.

Hopefully the Yonger/Ech effect is in play next year. I know to the common fan they likely don't mean as much to Iowa State as what David Carr did, but those two are almost worth the price of admission alone to watch

Maybe non-attenders are worried about one of those two decapitating someone? I am.

I’d have to imagine KDs 1st season was a bump from KJs last season just due to the excitement of the new staff. I know that’s when I first got my season tickets.

Attendance average bumped like 600-700 people from KJs last year to KDs first year I believe.
