You were not around probably when dice hit. He was off the charts. If you get offended easy, Dice is not for you, that is for sure .

Andrew Dice Clay was perfect for the time. Young people laughed. Older people found it offensive.
Followed in the footsteps of George Carlin, Lenny Bruce, Richard Pryor in that way.

Is some of his stuff bad? Cringe? Doesn't hold up today? 100% yes. But in 1988/1989 "Fromunda cheese" was the punchline that worked.
