2024 NCAA Tournament Thread

Always easy to second guess. Just thought that was a bad ATO by UCONN there at the end. Made no sense not to inbound the ball to Bueckers and let her go make a play.

The game was lost when UCONN wasn't able to get the lead to 15-17 in the first quarter and a half or so. They played great defense but weren't able to capitalize and could never get the lead up over 10-12. You knew at some point Iowa was going to go on a run

Wild that people think that isn’t an illegal screen.
A whole lot of rationalization going on. Imagine if it was the opposite situation, and the call had gone against Iowa, but it was the correct call. This board would probably mock Iowa fans for constantly complaining about a “correct” call. But instead the correct call went against Iowa, and people here have to rationalize why it should not be called.

Regardless of call, kind of a weird play for Gino to draw up to even allow for that possibility.

Paige could have made a play without a screen.

Can we get frame by frame shots of CC’s blatant push off down at the other end right after this too? If we’re going to be fair…. let’s be fair.
Holy **** I was just about to post this same thing...if the refs were going to tighten up the game at the end where was the obvious offensive foul on CC when she drove in and pushed off ?

I guess it’s really easy to see who doesn’t understand basic rules of basketball. It was a textbook illegal screen.
The issue is they weren't calling that exact same thing throughout the game....CC's one three in front of her bench had at least 2 of the same screens set that weren't called.

I'm sure the reason will be because 'you can't call that in that moment'.
