Our talent level is far below where it needs to be. We don't have the athletes to compete in the Big XII. I am still backing McDermott based on the caliber of recruits we seem to be in on. If he can close the deal on some of the bigger names we are chasing, I think he deserves more time. If he continues to recruit guys like we currently have, he absolutely has to go. Taking seven in last year's class was a horrible mistake.
Since its his program its on him....yeah for sure. Stop apologizing and making excuses for him, anyway you look at it, its his responsibility.
1/2 way through the second half, 3 players (CB, Lucca, and Buckely) were the only ones that made a basket. Enough said.
I agree. I don't want McD fired now because the last thing we need is for Pollard to pick another questionable coach.
Melt down because we played like dog crap for the most part, but firing McDermott isn't the direction the discussion should be going at this point.

I sincerely believe GMac deserves to coach out his contract. At Iowa State, we don't fire coaches after three years into a contract..................................

Yeah pollard should be fired we should've kept wayne morgan. i kno he got into trouble but if you look at the roster of mcdermotts first year and add in stinson and blalock we still would've been terrible

I'm not saying fire anybody, but Pollard will be gone before Gmac. The guy f'ed up a football and (possibly if the time comes) a basketball hire. An AD doesn't get many mulligans for these types of hires.
