***Official 2024 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament Thread***

Morehead has had a great game plan but the big guy for Illinois is throwing a wrench into it.

BYU coach Mark Pope still winless in the Tournament. I was kind of rooting for them to win just so he'd get some offers. Maybe he will anyway?

BYU Sports Nation TV will be fun tomorrow. They were totally confident about this game and getting pretty full of themselves.
Plenty of their fans have been that way all yr.
The exception is @CyCoug he's a good person .

I hope not. We typically get off to a big lead when we play someone for the 1st time because they have no easy way of preparing for our defense. If we don't get off to a nice lead tonight, I'll be very uncomfortable.
I'd be prepared to be uncomfortable. I think it's a safe bet that it will be a single-digit game at halftime (most games have been today). We're only favored by 15.5. I'm hopeful we can pull away at the 10-minute mark to turn it into a laugher (and for my old ticker).

I was more concerned about Illinois than BYU. BYU has good 3 points shooters but not much else. Illinois has shooters, size, and guards that can drive to the rim.

Iowa is not great but they are capable of beating anyone.
And I'm capable of sleeping with Scarjo but that doesn't mean it will happen. There is a reason Iowa is in the NIT and it's not because they are good.
