How dangerous is UCF?

I think we'll turn Central Florida over and get transition buckets to take a little pressure off our offense. I also think Milan is due for a good shooting game. He's been cold for a couple weeks now.

Central Florida is not a pushover, but I still think we win this one by a few possessions. 65-57 is my guess.

Yeah big game Saturday agains C Flo.

You know you've arrived if you pick up a win @Central

UFO would be cool since they already have the space thing...but they insist on Central Flow.

UFO and change the name to the Aliens the marketing potential would be amazing.

It’s a total slam dunk but ol’ Central is too set on demanding they be called C Flow or Central Flo.

I’d walk over broken glass as a designer to design the logo for the UFO Aliens for free.

They could have so much fun with sayings designs etc.., I'm not even creative and can see the potential.

Pretty sure we lock up a top-4 finish in the Big 12 with one more win. We are at 11 wins and KU/BU are both at 9 wins, with three games to go. We have the tiebreaker over KU but not over BU. KU and BU still have to play each other, so they can't both go 3-0 and finish with 12 wins, one of them is losing at least one more game and finishing with 11 wins max.

We may be top 4 even if we lose the next 3. It would depend on whether BYU wins out. We own the tiebreaker over TTU and TCU. That might get messed up if we end up in a 3 way tie at 11-7.

We’ve got two road games left against bottom half Big 12 teams that aren’t projected to make the tournament - we’ve won all our road conference games against similar teams this season.

We’ve got one home game left against 8-7 BYU. We are undefeated at home.

How anyone has talked themselves into being satisfied with a 1-2 finish is beyond me. It must be a defense mechanism. Screw that! Let’s win them all and have a shot at the conference title! Or at least take 2 out of 3 and finish 13-5 which would be one helluva year!

Who has said they'd be satisfied with 1-2?

I don't worry so much about Tamin's and Milan's slumps. I think their scoring droughts are more about other teams making both of them a point of emphasis in their defensive game plan.

I've heard others say that Milan should no longer be starting, which I disagree with. What these folks don't realize (or appreciate) is that even when Milan isn't scoring, he's stretching the defense which is allowing Tamin and Gilbert to get into the lane at will.

I don't think people acknowledge what being a legit offensive threat does in a game even if the points aren't there.

These are the same people that didn't want Gabe or BRE playing even though their defense was vital to a chance at winning.

UFC is pretty dangerous, I saw a guy break his shin on another guy's shin, a former champ.

Also UCF fans told me they love being called "Central", or "Central Flo". We should all call them "Central" as much as possible.
We used to be Iowa Agricultural College and Model Farm. Somehow when I found that out, I had visions of Cheryl Tiegs sprouting out of the ground.

Ive had this one circled as our major road stumble since the start of the year. It wont feel as bad since they've played really well at home.

UCF is playing for their postseason lives with us and Houston coming in

I'm worried, like I am for every game, but you can't keep Lipsey and Mommy down for long. My prediction: They break out of their mini-slumps in a major way, and the Cyclones win by double digits. And I'm a well-known pessimist.
F**ing don't call him Mommy, that's just stupind.

Having watched two BYU vs UCF games this year, they were tough.

In the second half of the last game, they decided to be extremely physical and it almost worked. They came back from about 12 down and only lost by 2.

The game lasted over 2.5 hours. BYU made 40 of 46 free throws. They would have lost if the game was a minute longer, or free throw shooting was not exemplary.

It will be tough if they do a similar strategy against ISU. But they didn’t look great on offense. So ISU’s ability to lock them down will help a ton.

Feel like that's a better strategy against BYU than a team like ISU that's happy to play that type of game.
