I was there. My first college hoops game. Holy crap does the Pit get loud. I loved every minute of it, until after the game I found that someone attempted to break into my car.
I don't know who would do such a thing. But I'm sure the Hawkeyes would say it was a Cyclone that must have done it.
That's what I was struggling with. Originally I thought I wanted Baylor to win because then they'd be playing for a tie for first place on Saturday, but now they absolutely have to win both to stay in the conference race and for the seeding.
Basically whoever loses on Saturday, we benefit: Houston loss + ISU win = back to tied for first in Big 12, Baylor loss + ISU win helps us for seeding (Omaha is also the closest region for Baylor).
I keep saying this but UK fans have to be ready to move on from Cal.
Kentucky now sixth in the SEC. Nine years since their last final four.
Cal to Texas in the offseason seems to be the most common rumor.
