49ers - Brock Purdy - Still and Always #1

Can't help but to think that BP's time behind a "mediocre" ISU oline, has been highly beneficial to his NFL success. The number of times he was flushed out of the pocket in college - uncountable.
Pretty sure Brock-Niners have benefitted greatly from the Clones oline weaknesses.
Running around like a chicken with its head cut off, certainly led to his NFL evolvement.
The Niner line has breakdowns, but damn, unlike the Clones line, I'm not screaming f*** you nonstop.

I think that Purdys experience greatly helped him get where he's at. Suspect line, needing to make the right read every time presnap, anticipation on his throws and especially using his TEs as pass catchers. All definitely helped him grow into what he is today.

Not if he loses on Monday. Every major media outlets including ESPN is promoting Jackson for MVP which has huge influence on perception and MVP vote. If media has no influence, Jackson should not be in the MVP conversation. Now he will win it if he has a good game on Monday.
The media is going to make a race out of it no matter what so they have something to talk about. Do you really expect everyone to just declare Purdy mvp with 3 games left and no longer discuss it? There are a lot of people who have a vested interest in making this game both a super bowl preview and mvp matchup. That doesn't mean it's going to have a heavy influence on the 50 mvp voters.

I understand but Jackson in the MVP conversation is totally ridiculous.

Heard some arguments against BCB now about how he would perform in comeback situations. When you are throwing dimes from the kick it doesn't matter, can't penalize a guy for kicking your ass from the start.

Not that it was true late game comeback haven't they been down 7-0 to other teams at the start of the game?

Most QBs fail to comeback from behind, these include Mahomes, Burrow, Jackson, and Allen. Has Mahomes won any games this year coming from behind this year? He is at least 0-4 this years, Lions, Bills, Eagles, and Broncos.

Oops- Bills.

He overtook Purdy after the eagles game.
Dak won 1 game against winning teams. Eagles at home. That's it. Lost all other games against winning teams. He played a bunch of tomato cans. Got blown out by the 49ers and Bills. Super overrated. The media just loves the Cowboys and they were looking for an excuse to not give it to Purdy as usual.

Of course that helped him. LOL. He gets rid of the ball quick, doesn't panic vs the blitz and scambles to the outside to buy time to throw and gets first downs running.

You prepared him for us and the NFL. Thanks.

If it is not Purdy, then Dak should win the MVP

I've got a work buddy who got a bunch of "free" bets for signing up for one of the services. I suggested he put $100 on Purdy for MVP at +1800. It had just dropped from+2200.We we're talking about it the other day and I told him I should get a "finder's" fee if he wins it.

If Ravens win on Monday, the national media will promote Jackson for MVP
I doubt it will last. He might get some hype for a few days, but then once people take a deep dive into his numbers, it just won’t measure up. IMO, ESPN is just trying to hype up a huge game on their channel.

Then why is Jackson even in the MVP conversation? They are doing everything they can to keep the MVP award away from Purdy. Jackson absolutely doesn’t deserve to be MVP. Ravens are winning despite Jackson because of their #1 defense but he will win the MVP if Ravens beat Niners on Monday.
Bc there has to be something to talk about. It benefits both the NFL and all sports media companies to have a “debate”

If it’s all but decided (which baring a major drop off) by week 15 it’s probably not good for business.

Him standing tall in the pocket in the face of a heavy pass rush has always been one of his major assets going back to his freshman year. Absolute warrior
