I'm an Iowa State fan. What's clock management?
CMC has never been good at it. Randomly blowing timeouts in the 2nd half for no reason has been something he's done forever here

I couldn't believe what I was watching. I'm close to hopping off the CMC train.
Campbell took a pretty big step down in my eyes today. Choosing to take as much time as we did left the margin incredibly small, even with a great stop on 3rd and inches. That was soft ass mentality and not trying to win a football game
Seemed like it'd be a huge issue at the time, but we scored a TD and got the ball left with ~2 mins left with decent field position.

It was some late-era Rhoads stuff.
"Let's send the offense out like we are going for it. We've actually gone for it once in the previous 15 ******* times we've done this and have maybe drawn one offsides but hey, I'm feeling lucky. It's only a timeout, right"
Add that to today's ******** and I'm not sure I've seen a worse clock manager.
I thought we should have onsides kicked. I mean, we put ourselves in a position where we couldn't give up a first. Might as well give yourself two cracks at a miracle instead of one.
But I'd rather have scored in 3 minutes and had 6 minutes to try to win the game. Pathetic.
What happened today made me sick to my stomach. This staff is incompetent.
The clock management during the 4th quarter was flat-out embarrassing.
As somebody pointed out in the game thread, he’s not going to outsmart anybody.
