NFL: ***2026 NFL Season***

Really? That's a pretty quick dismissal of the league MVP, who also happened to be one of the highest paid QBs last season as well. No, I don't think the Chiefs would have won the Superbowl with Tua, Hill and Waddle.

Don’t forget Reid and Bieniemy. I think those guys could’ve worked an offense to carve up the league with that trio. But I guess that’s where we’ll have to disagree.

Don’t hate the Chiefs, and Lions are a division rival, but the meltdown would be hilarious if the Lions pull this off.

And you’re an Iowa fan that spends easily 6 hours a day or more on an ISU fan site. Wowzers!
Yeah I like it here, get along pretty well with most everybody. You're 1 of 3 regulars who are just kind of dooshers. And I've probably sent more of my $$$ to ISU in the last 5 years than you have.

Will happily step back to let the rest enjoy the first night of NFL action thread. Enjoy.

Pretty ridiculous the refs are letting the Chiefs RT move so much pre-snap and then consistently drop step a half-second before the snap. The Lions should be calling this out every single possession

Goff just not super impressive.

...and yet a lot idiot Detroit fans would rather have him than Stafford, completely and intentionally ignoring the fact that the guy won a Super Bowl the very season he left the team. "But but but all that talent around him..." What - they honestly think Stafford wouldn't perform well with this offense - ESPECIALLY this OL? (yes - they think that) He never had a great OL, especially late in his career with Detroit, when he was always injured - injuries he was always playing through.

Goff as a QB is better than a lot of other options... but if the Lions truly want to be a Super Bowl contender they need someone better than him - or he has to play the best ball of his career. The Lions are much better but they're not a "game manager at QB is good enough" good.
