I saw on a CR posting a scouting report from a few years back on Christopherson. It said he can shoot it from NBA 3-point range and is very athletic, with ability to drive to the basket and dunk with either hand. Sounds exactly like what our team is missing -- the athleticism and driving to the basket (combined w/ outside shooting is a nice extra). Now, since he's been in our fold, I've not gotten the impression that we should have expectations at that height for him. Maybe that's because his knee has taken quite awhile to heal -- is that true? If so, is he healthy now? What's your take on what he brings?

If he's close to that prediction, I'm feeling much better about next year with Colvin, Gilstrap, and Pomlee bringing athleticism as well. Thanks.

He's not as athletic as that makes him out to be...he can stroke the 3, and is a decent ballhandler, but he's not gonna be blowing past people or taking it a lot to the rack.

I've always wondered, what is the difference between Christopherson and Lucca?

I think Lucca is a little bit more of a pure shooter, but Christopherson might be a little bit quicker...

Lucca shoots the 3 better...teams are just running at him and he's not doing anything with the ball...Kind of driving me nuts right now.

Christopherson is a better mid range shooter than Lucca...More of a shooter coming off the dribble, where Lucca is more catch and shoot.

Christopherson is really solidly built, no super quick, but enough that he is a pretty good defender with is como of size, strength and quickness. There's a video that's been posted on here several times of him in high school.

Christopherson is much quicker and stronger than Sullivan was...

Sullivan was pretty solid his last couple of years. His body did a complete transformation after his sophomore year. That was when he really started to get to the line more. We could really use a 90% FT shooter to get to the line more!

I know Sullivan could shoot...

I know a lot of ISU fans think highly of Sullivan on the court...I'm not one of them.

Sullivan was sneaky strong... I was shocked when I saw some of the weight he was pushing in the weight room.

I don't think Sullivan was "All Century Team" worthy, but he would be the second best player on our team right now...

Wish I could go back in time and change his supporting cast and prove that wrong...and no way is he Century Team worthy...still shocked to this day.

I would seriously disagree with that. Without a great point guard Sullivan was a 6.5 on a 1-10 scale. I would take Lucca, DG, and even Petey over Sullivan.

You're on crack... Sullivan was slow, but tough enough to split defenders on the drive and get to the line and actually knew how to use a pick...

I don't think his supporting cast from his sophmore year is better than the team we have now and he still managed 16ppg.

that would be due to a lack of talent on the current team...not a statement of Sullivan's ability (esp on the defensive side of the ball).
