It's all just posturing for negotiation purposes. They would be idiotic to turn down the B1G if an invite is legitimately on the table and everyone knows that.If it's $10M in B1G it will be $8M give our take in the XII.

Wasn’t it an overreaction on the ACCs part to stave off the realignment they saw ravage the big 12? They asked for as long of term as possible and equated that to security?Because 10 years ago that deal wasn't bad. I was reading an article yesterday about the history of the ACC deal, don't remember where. But the media deal sucks horrible reevaluation throughout the life of the deal.
I've heard this before, but some nice symmetry for tonight...
Their only mistake was not negotiating any riders for better payments or renegotiations later in the contract.Wasn’t it an overreaction on the ACCs part to stave off the realignment they saw ravage the big 12? They asked for as long as term as possible and equated that to security?
Couple days ago B1G put out to every CFB journalist they were looking at Pac12 schools and not once walked it backed. They’re all in for OUWA unless those schools screw themself in negotiationIf the B10 is going to make an offer (especially at $35-$40M/year) then Washington (and whoever else) is gone.
If they’re in the negotiation phase, it will get done eventually. Either way, absolutely no way Washington (and whoever else) are signing that PAC-12 deal
This was almost us more than once. Shi**y place to be and don't fault them.
Also, Scheer's been a bit of a **** in this. I know about a week ago he said "respectfully, Oregon State and Washington State don't have the value to go to the Big 12." Which regardless of whether is true, is a **** move, especially trying to hide behind putting "respectfully" first

It's not the worst move. They'll be here eventually, just don't want to be the ones who ruined the PAC.Michael Crow is going to screw ASU over if he don’t get with the program. He will be eating his last name
He'll be eating something else spelled with four letters...Michael Crow is going to screw ASU over if he don’t get with the program. He will be eating his last name
Right, but we all know that. That doesn't mean it isn't being a bit of an ass. And I think he knew that too, which is why he tried putting "respectfully" in frontI mean, he's not wrong though.
Wazzu, while they didn't bring a large crew, were nice at the Alamobowl.I have zero interest in making fun of Oregon State or WSU through all this. They both seem like really cool schools with good fanbases similar to ours. It wasn't that long ago we were inches from being in their predicament. I truly do feel bad for them as they don't deserve this. Utah on the other hand????? Screw Utah.

This can all be true at the same time. That's the really bad part of this situation.I mean, he's not wrong though.
