The SEC and B1G make up 2 of the 11 votes when it comes to CFP governance.
And the people writing the checks have an even bigger vote. Anyway, it's just an opinion. We will see how this all plays out soon enough.

Being in an A5 conference is better than not being in one. Better bowl games as well. Basically saying whatever is left in the Pac 12 will have plenty of schools looking to join them.

The four schools I would try to get if I were the PAC 12 commissioner would be the Air Force Academy, Boise State, San Diego State, and UNLV. Colorado State and SMU would be my next choices.

Just killing time with some random speculation.

Contractually, there has to be more money. But as Chris has been saying, you don’t want to piss of your network partners.
Your right. There is ESPN money. I was thinking more about the Fox money to get everyone whole. Because unequal revenue isn't a good way to go for the Big XII long term future. What happens in 5 years if no one wants to pony up full shares to make everyone whole. Unfortunately this isn't the B1G.

Could it be UW is in play for the B12 as well as ASU and UA? PAC 12 tv deal falls apart if they lose OR or UW and rumor has it UW thinks they could be more competitive in the B12
Maybe? Whatever is left is going to be severely destabilized, and if the Big 10 isn't offering a great deal to them, they may take another look. The pressure to do something will certainly be ramping up on everyone left.
