Not much of a Nascar guy but this road track racing with a wet track in Chicago is pretty interesting. Chicago people @KnappShack @SaraV what is the scoop with the ferris wheel amongst all the ball fields on the infield of the course.

DnD goal achieved though dh left the all important paci in the pickup car so that definitely made the 2nd half rough with a crying toddler. 14 mi total, great views, not windy, mostly overcast or shaded to keep the Temps manageable. Went with our two in the trailer, bestie friends with their 1.5yr old in a trailer and their sister and her dog in a trailer. Quite the caravan. Stopped halfway for breakfast at a dive place, pretty good. 2nd half had more tears due to tired and no paci. Adults also considered crying. Dh and I swapped toward the end and I got to appreciate hauling 70lbs of kid plus trailer. Drove through a bit of water that muddy splashed boys. Almost 5yr old proceeded to tell everyone about it, including strangers. Kid will talk to any warm body and probably cold ones too. Stopped for drinks and more food which turned the constant toy fighting to 25 min of blissful play. Then we grabbed ice cream and all napped on the drive back. All in all successful but I bet DH never forgets another paci.I do love me some terrible ideas!
Hoping for a detailed after-action update.

Closer to Le Mars than Le Mans. DunlAp. But maybe you can take Gr8 on a spy mission there as backup?Pretty disappointing. Was thinking our guy was in France at Le Mans.

In Milwaukee for the Cubs game tomorrow. Went to Atwater park/beach on the way in. LittleWx is convinced he will buy one of those bajillion dollar houses some day. More power to you kid.
Can't say. The way I heard it, if wants to go to an away game he can ride the team plane. In addition to Schabens? I always knew they were supporters never knew if they were big or not.
No Corgis? No gals in hammocks in the park? No cool cars? No birds? These are things we want to know about!Gatorade time. Rode an eventful and somewhat boring 24 miles. DND. Sort of hot at 89 but missed the 90 mark. Wind at 3mph will be the stillest ride of the year.
Whar @cowgirl836 family ride update?
As I was riding into Dunlap on 30 a bald eagle flew right overhead about 30 feet
I thought that place closed a few years back.Dive Breakfast bar =porn in the morn bar Hope you left the kids outside.![]()
