And it's irony of really needing the rain at the same time.
I really wanted to get the lawn mowed before I left but I guess that's not happening now. Should have done it last night but I didn't get home till 7 after a miserable day at work.

Main work was done about an hour ago, and most of the crew left. There were several guys finishing up the far side of the garagemahal...I think they're done because I don't hear them any more. They laugh...a lot! They were a very happy group.

Approximately 11 hours from tear down to finished roof. Dayum!!!

Hispanic crew came a week or so ago on a Friday to do a big paver patio in neighbors backyard. Had it all done by late Saturday, very efficient Last day was taco lunch. Smelled so good. BTW, boss was a Hispanic guy with sweet BMW with Texas plates.

Heading out for first bike ride in weeks. Between roadie to Iowa and the awful air quality I've been mostly an invalid other than car time and a few trips to the gym **.

They sprayed my street and alley with "Fog Seal" and it need a few hours to dry. No sidewalks or grass yards between me and untreated street so it's going to be tiptoeing on the concrete gutter with bike slung over my shoulder.

I am about to have roofers in my lap from the sound of it!!!

Actually, Lew says it's them bringing up the new shingles. Tear-down on the house is already done!

A couple of minutes ago I glanced up and saw people standing outside my second story window - freaked me out for a moment until I realized they were working on the gazebo roof. :D
Is that your bedroom window? Did they get a show?

Should have done the Tour de France ride the gutter thing like they do on the Champs-Elysees.

July 1st. Last house payment. Just under 20 years. Finally.
Welcome to the party!
When you get the letter in the mail from the lender is one of the best days ever.
Then comes the escrow surplus check if you have one :D (that I then used for the next 6 months of taxes).

I have always paid my own taxes and insurance . I will still not be totally debt free. The business has a few small loans. With effective rates of 1.7 and. 2.3, I’m just paying them a payment at a time.

On one of the zooms, this lead lady finally smiled and seemed to be in a good mood for the first time in 4 months. Either she’s excited for the 4 day weekend she mentioned or she got lucky last night. I suppose it could be both.

Also, am I the only one who tends to watch themselves when speaking on zoom calls occasionally? My ADD is peaked out on those things.
