Noticed the state patrol was doing speed checks via plane on 380 through CR last night. Pulled up the scanner to see how it was going. They immediately clock a motorcycle going 127 past Coldstream, the ground troopers were slightly out of position and then got caught by a train on the CN line that runs along the interstate so he proceeded to get on highway 100 west where they again clocked him going 125. They eventually caught up to him as he got off at Edgewood, they wrote him two citations for both speed violations. Can't imagine one ticket for 67 over and another for 50 over were cheap...

I swear I spoke to people non-stop rapid fire from about quarter to 5 (reception started at 5) until about 11 (reception 'ended' at 8). At about 7:45 I told someone that I wasn't trying to be rude, but I had to get something to eat. The quarter of a sub sandwich I had for lunch just wasn't cutting it.

I was amazed at the number of people who showed up. Many surprised me because we sent them courtesy invites never expecting them to bother to come.

Didn't run out of food, definitely didn't run out of drinks, and we didn't get rained on so it was a success.

EDIT: Just looked at the REO tour schedule. They must have been going to see them in Prior Lake, but I still don't know who said it.

Glad to hear it went off relatively well.

I may have talked to you about REO at your daughter's boyfriend's party. Not sure. Graduation parties are blending together now.
 
There's someone that apparently does metal sculptures just north of Omaha and I noticed this big on out near the highway. It looks like it's the creature from the movie Jeepers Creepers

Since I switched PCs I can no longer get into Giphy. It never sends me an email to reset my password so I might be screwed. Used to be logged into it on my phone and that wants me to log in.
I guess I could check my chromebook to see if I have logged in from that.
 
The other oddity of ice cream cone lady was, I was sitting next to my wife and made a statement to her and called her babe at the end. Cone lady spun around instantly and replied to the statement. I was like, uh, o……k…..?

Wife’s hometown had a similar problem. It was in cursive and the R wasn’t right so the R and I blended together to form a U so instead of Britt it spelled Butt. Very fitting for that town though.

Back when we worked as stagehands we often got shirts that were misprints or had something else wrong with them since they couldn't sell them. I think I got a couple different shirts from different concerts that had Ames (Aimes) misspelled on the tour schedule on the back. When Clint Black came through they gave us a shirt that had his name in a strange all caps font that had all of the straight lines curved. So where the 'L' and the 'I' came together it looked more like a 'U'.

I'll let you put it all together. I could immediately see why they had second thoughts about selling that one.

Went to a Kernels game tonight. Beat the Beloit Skycarp so take that @stormchaser2014 . Also my MIL had to research it so now I know what a skycarp is and why Beloitians relate themselves to it.
