Dang pan fried chicken mashed potatoes and gravy and rhubarb cherry pie for desert. It was a heck of a meal. Sister cooked the main course I supplied the dessert. We did it for my mom's Bday.

Can't see REO Speedwagon in type without thinking Oreo Speedwagon. Got a letter over the summer 50 years ago from a girlfriend who said she had just gone to see "Oreo" Speedwagon. Also remember because she was so darned cute.
Both would be good. If you don't know Guess Who, their best stuff was 1968-1970: These Eyes, Laughing, Undun, No Time (left for you), American Woman, No Sugar Tonight, Hand Me Down World, Share the Land.
Years ago there was a radio ad for Rio in concert. After hearing Rio several times and the date and venue I realized it was REO and that the DJ had no clue what he was reading.
My new work laptop has that stupid thunderbolt plug for the power. SO now my home power cable is useless. It has about 10 different plug adapters and none of them are a thunderbolt.
I bought it at Best Buy a couple of years ago so hopefully they have a separate thunderbolt adapter I can buy to fit it.
I would hate to have to pull out the power cord when I have to travel.

I seldom pay attention to political ads, but the current DeSantis "PowerPoint" ad has an interesting detail:

I started to reply to this then realized what thread I was in (I just followed a notification). We are allowed to keep this thread alive if we avoid cave topics like politics and such. You might want to move this to the DeSantis thread there.
It was just meant to be an amusing observation, a presumably unintentional "Easter egg" sort of thing by whoever prepared the ad for the campaign, not a political comment/position. If it seems offensive, I'll delete it.
It wasn't offensive to me...I actually thought it was funny and went looking (unsuccessfully) for an online video!
On occasion innocent comments explode into debate and with you being relatively new to the group I didn't know if you were aware of the unofficial contract we have with the mods (Angie in particular). We police ourselves and start a new thread each January, and they let our threads go mega.
Guess Who is going to be at Stephens in October. Listened to their 8 tracks until they wore out. Might have to check on ticket prices.
