Well, Coach Ousley.....
This thing is nothing like the CyTown vision--whatever that is. The UT thing will be a concrete version of The Grove at Ole Miss.
Well, Coach Ousley.....
My comment was directed toward his first sentence, "G10T is arguably the best tailgating atmosphere in college football" and was based on the ISU FB tailgating experience to date. I'm not saying anything about what it will be when CyTown is finished. This thing is nothing like the CyTown vision--whatever that is. The UT thing will be a concrete version of The Grove at Ole Miss.
No football posters at Schemen or Jacobsen buildings.
Scheman? I looked on tables nothing at 1 PM. Are they on the floor? Jacobsen was locked. The multiple stacks of posters by the door would disagree.
That will come in handy during RAGBRAIIAlso, they have added a paved path from the street entrance to the RV Village, all the way to the little bridge near VetMED View attachment 113194 View attachment 113195 View attachment 113196

Agreed. I also think they are trying to funnel all pedestrian traffic from the east and south towards the pedestrian bridge on game days to reduce crossing at S 4th and S 16th as much as possible.I think that was a good portion of the reason for the installation.
Yea, when I went by the other day it looked like the preparation for the path extended south of the ped bridge and maybe over to the city mixed use path where the old railroad right of way is on S 16th st. That is a nice addition for pedestrians if that’s the case.Agreed. These pics are great... thanks! Next time, can you get on the roof of Hilton and get us some shots from higher up?Here are a few photos of the D lots. View attachment 113190 View attachment 113191 View attachment 113193
I thought briefly about trying to get some shots last night after I left the Stephens Preview event for next program year's shows, but I don't think my camera can really capture the scope of what's there. Plus, it was starting to get dark. Also, they have added a paved path from the street entrance to the RV Village, all the way to the little bridge near VetMED.
This image is taken from the little bridge near Vet Med.
This image is looking south from the east end of the big bridge.
This image is looking north from the east end of the big bridge. It goes all the way to the S. 4th street entrance to the RV Village.
This looks kinda lameThis thing is nothing like the CyTown vision--whatever that is. The UT thing will be a concrete version of The Grove at Ole Miss.
There were probably 300 or so at Jacobson earlier today.
This looks kinda lame
Very lame.Seriously. The Tennessee development is not even in the same category as CyTown. Or maybe the really bad report is what makes it seem extra lame.

UT Athletics plans new 'entertainment district' with Neyland Stadium and planned hotel at its center
The planned hotel is adjacent to Neyland Stadium's south end and the district would span the Tennessee River waterfront.www.wbir.com
I guess I thought they were going to raise the D lots higher with all that dirt. Maybe I just can’t tell in the pic but doesn’t seem to be raised much. Here are a few photos of the D lots. View attachment 113190 View attachment 113191 View attachment 113193
