Succession on HBO

Snook just won herself the Emmy with that scene with Macfadyen on the balcony. That was a masterclass in acting and was honestly just brutal to watch. I hate everyone on this show so much but I can't look away.

I also called it weeks ago...Gerri has had PLENTY of leverage it was just a matter of time before she brings up the d!ck pics she has.
I always laugh at the post-episode interviews where they have heavy accents but none during the show.

That was a tough scene between Shiv and Tom. Don't think there is any coming back from that. Shiv is so cold. Both said some really mean stuff, but they didn't really say anything that wasn't true.

Kendall finally gets a W by uncovering the numbers issue from Mattson's pr lady

I thought Mattson had done a phenomenal job all season, but this episode his character was a little over the top between the "gay numbers", the way he acted like a little boy when confronted by shiv, and the chanting with cousin greg & Oskar

Roman continues to implode

Going to be tough to wrap all of this up in the next 3 episodes!

This. Things need to start wrapping up soon. Next three episodes (finale is hour and a half long) should be must see TV.

Very harrowing episode.

Maybe the only good post-Trump piece of political satire I’ve seen. This is it, this is our destiny, our future is in the hands of wealthy a hole morons.

It’s clear Jesse Armstrong has some contempt for our country and the way we make decisions

This was also a sort of reset/reminder by the showrunners. For some viewers anyway. I have friends that say things like 'oh i am rooting for Roman he's just had it so rough and he's just trying to make his dad proud!' and the showrunners are like 'full stop...here's an episode reminding the entire audience how truly horrible these people are.'

This is spot on

Interviews before the season started that were vague now making more sense. Jesse Armstrong was asked which episode he said defined the season and he said many will say 3 but I think it's 8. So when three actually happened people were like 'ummm...what the f can happen in 8 that tops this'. Now we see.

Also, Macfayden (Tom) was asked to describe the entire season in one word and he said 'Wasabi'.

Best episode for quite awhile. I still think it ends with the Roy’s spiraling out of control in their own ways, Madsen getting control and putting Greg in as CEO.

I’ve been saying for weeks they’re gonna end up ******* themselves and get nothing. But I wasn’t sure how. Now it makes sense.

I'm hoping Connor somehow backs his way into the presidency. The "forgotten son" becomes the most powerful man in the world.

What was that last line to close the episode about when Kendall said ~"some people don't know how to take a deal {name}."

I'm enjoying this season, but thought this episode was a little too on the nose. Greg taking over feels too predictable. I really have no clue how this is going to end, but I hope it's black/white with little left for interpretation.

I saw some on Twitter saying they want all the Roy's to somehow be flawed but still united in the end. I was like **** that! These people don't deserve to be united and if they end up tying everything together with a ****** up bow that will be a real bummer

I find a “feel good” ending like that super unlikely, especially given how dark this season has been

Had a hard time going to sleep after last night's episode. Had to be one of the best in the series despite how hard it was to watch at times. The preview for next week was also harrowing. Between Roman going full evil and Shiv out for blood, I feel like this won't end well for Kendall. Would be a fitting ending for none of the Roy kids to be sitting on the throne of Waystar at the end.
